Mumbai Real Estate: Bollywood actor Kalki Koechlin has sold her apartment in Andheri West, Mumbai, for ₹2.55 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The apartment was originally purchased by the actor in December 2015 for ₹1.95 crore, making it a profitable investment after nearly a decade.
The latest deal reflects the continued demand for residential properties in Andheri West, one of Mumbai's most sought-after real estate markets.
The apartment is located in Varsova Kiran Co-operative Housing Society Ltd in Andheri West. According to the registration documents, the property has a carpet area of 1,230 square feet.
The buyer of the apartment is Yuvraj Ahuja. The property transaction was officially registered on April 21, 2026.
Property records show that the buyer paid a stamp duty of ₹16.08 lakh, along with registration charges of ₹30,000 to complete the purchase.
According to Square Yards, Kalki Koechlin bought the apartment in December 2015 for ₹1.95 crore.
The recent sale at ₹2.55 crore means the property's value increased by around ₹60 lakh over a holding period of nearly 10 years.
This represents an estimated 31% capital appreciation on the actor's original investment, highlighting the long-term growth potential of residential properties in prime Mumbai locations.
Celebrity real estate transactions have remained active in Mumbai over the past few months.
Recently, Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon, along with her sister Nupur Sanon and mother Geeta Sanon, sold four apartments in Andheri West for a combined value of ₹8.9 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.
The buyer of those apartments was filmmaker and casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
The Sanon family had purchased the four properties between 2013 and 2017 for around ₹4.31 crore. Their recent sale generated an appreciation of nearly ₹4.6 crore, representing an estimated 107% capital gain over a holding period of nine to thirteen years.
These transactions show that Andheri West continues to deliver healthy returns for long-term property owners.
